In Western Thanalan, during moonlit nights, a butcher's shop stands. It sits comfortably alone; not another building, shack or structure for miles. Instead of looking sinister and uninviting, it looks cozy and welcoming. A thin curl of smoke floats from its backroom chimney and outside is a small row of smokers. The paint is fresh and bright in what star and moonlight illuminates it, the roof well-kept and all the window panes sparkling clean. A blue light shines from behind the curtains, adding to the image of a reputable establishment that has somehow found itself on the side of a desert road.The only sign that identifies the shop is a modest placard with a hoof and horn painted on it, a few feet in front. It otherwise it makes no effort to dispel the mystery of who owns it or why they built it on this spot.
